tried various software, and found groundwire is very impressive, especially with push notification, which can ensure incoming calls to wake up your phone. Please note android will become more and more aggressive on battery saving in future, so push notification gets more important to avoid missing calls. However, groundwire still works great even without push notification under android 8 or older version, but need to remove groundwire from any battery saving/optimization. Also very like functions of transfer and recording. In addition, in my experience, it's better to reboot your android phone after changing to push notification and finishing configuration on battery saving. This might not necessary on other android phones, but my Huawei mate9 need reboot to make configuration on battery saving effective. Moreover, groundwire supports SIP messaging, which makes groundwire to receive/send text message as cellphone did. Groundwire not free app, but just pay one time, don't like another softphone need to pay month by month forever, so groundwire is worth for your money! Conclusion: 5 star and recommended!
