I recently left plex and was searching for alternatives. Infuse did great all on its own using my samba shares… but Jellyfin has some value adds I like. I was thrilled to find I could have the best of both worlds pointing infuse to my jellyfin instance! Finally! I don’t have to choose between a great app and a great self hosted solution. Highly recommended. I know it’s a long shot but the option to transcode when streaming would be awesome. 98% of the time I don’t want it but occasionally you’re stuck somewhere like a hotel with poor wifi.
