If you have an Appletv you should use infuse to playback your local media library. Whether it is stored in a NAS or a network share. Infuse will be quicker to find your files and playback will be smoother. Especially 4K and high bit rate files with big audio streams. I use Plex as the main media library organiser and often rely on it’s no cost remote streaming option (Plex pass req’d) and infuse can read the metadata from the Plex library if required. I prefer the infuse UI with its direct access and cleaner playback. Recommend at only $20-ish annually. Cheers
