This player charges a fee because you have to pay for the licenses to decide DTS, Dolby Atmos etc. this will play videos without transcoding and thus will not create lots of lag with the audio. On my appletv 4k and a Sony Bravia 65” using the Infuse player, after you log into plex to access the files, it will play 1080p and all 4k format movies with no issues and no compression and no unwanted transcoding. If you need free player, or will only use free, then you are not seriua or interested in a good picture with accurate sound with no synch issues. Go back to your lousy sound issues. If you want to play your movies with no issues as if it’s a Blu-ray Disc player, then play using infuse and don’t use the plex player (but use the plex server to get your movies to your infuse
