Having used all the major streaming platforms, this works way better and the quality of the streamed content does not rely on the whims of the content houses, only on the original content. No commercials, no unwanted content. Seamless integration on a Synology NAS and my other content.
The Pro upgrade gives ability to decode proprietary codecs and higher resolution. I guess we cannot have nice things without copyright. I have my bought films on a NAS.
If I could use this app to stream content from all platforms like NetFlix and the like - life would be swell. Did I mention that the streaming quality is 10x better?
