Super useful. Each world usually has pronunciation guides, writing guides, multiple definitions (when applicable), kanji roots, and examples. This dictionary also includes slang, which is very helpful. I ditched my paper dictionary completely for this app. However, the writing search doesn’t work very well. It was off most of the time, even for simple kanji like 私 and 中.
