While I find this app to be interesting and unique, I would not suggest it for classroom use. It would be more appropriate in a setting outside of the classroom, where users may not practice mathematical content on the daily. This app can be used as an introduction to or extra practice with solving equations, but it is unnecessary in the classroom. I answered no to both questions, “Do you feel this app is worthwhile for classroom use?” and “Is it worth a teacher’s, school’s, or district’s money to purchase this product?”. This app is $4.99, which is expensive for an app that has limited settings, no formal means of formal assessment, and focuses on a single mathematical concept. Additionally, the app has 5 “chapters”, which students can breeze through in less than a week. If anything, consider the price before buying a simple app with limited settings.
