Hi there, I have enabled two factor authentication (2FA) on my Admob account due to attempts to access it from elsewhere, however the 2FA login process seems to hang when I change the credentials in Appfigures. What is the best way to get a 2FA login for Google Accounts in Appfigures? Cheers.

Hi, I just wanted to mention again that the Unit Mappings page doesn't seem to be linked from anywhere, if it is I can't find it. Every time I put a new app live I have to search back through the Community History to find the link so I can link my advertising to my new apps. Maybe there is a misunderstanding about how apps are developed - the ad units are created days or weeks before the app goes live, so when appfigures detects the new ad units at this time the messages are not useful - there is no live app to connect them to. Later when the app goes live and appfigures detects it on the store this is when the ad units are linked - but I cannot find the unit mappings linked in the settings! Maybe they are linked somewhere other than the community history but I can't find it! Thanks.

iTunes is behind, I synced mine manually and it said I got something new, however I didn't get an email so I'm not sure. Very difficult to tell what is going on as I am in a different timezone to appfigures.

@appfigures - Further to my previous post, the best and easiest solution is not to fetch or use the device timezone and time in your app - always use the relevant USA timezone. Yesterday is always the last completed day, Today is always the day in progress irrespective of local time.

@appfigures - Thanks for taking the time to reply. Due to timezone differences, I suspect the app doesn't work as intended in Australia. As we are ahead of the USA, it always shows "Yesterday" in the date field, and shows the total advertising earnings counting up as the earnings are being made yesterday in our time. Effectively what I see in the app is "Yesterday" and my real time ad earnings counting up until about 5pm my time, which is midnight your time . The real time numbers stop then. About 9pm-10pm my time the Apple sales/IAP come in so the totals are correct for the day. It still shows yesterday in the date field, which it is my time. At midnight, these numbers disappear and cannot be selected again (I've jumped one day forward). I can only see the real time numbers again which are low - it is for the day in progress which count up again until 5pm the next day. So the app is a good idea, but probably only works in the USA - which is a common issue in apps which I use to sell my own! I've never been able to select today in the date field, and cannot retrieve the previous days figures after midnight my time - because they belong to the day before yesterday! Cheers.

1 on the total daily Sales revenue and Ads revenue reports totals on the website. This is only available in the emails that get sent out, not on site :( It seems to be a very very low priority, maybe I'm the only one who wants to know - I base my daily revenue goals on this number.

Hi there, Somewhere in appfigures is a screen that allows me to associate the data I receive from Admob to an app that has been found in iTunes Connect. However, I cannot find a way to access this screen through the user interface. How do I change these settings?

I can see this screen if appfigures detects that a new advertising identifier has been created on admob. Appfigures will present an alert saying it has found the new ID, and take you to a screen that allows you to assign that ID to an app. When I create the ID in admob the app is not live on the iTunes store so I cannot assign it to an app - I just chose to ignore that ID. Now that the app is live on iTunes, I can assign the ID to an app - but I can't find the way to access this screen again!

@appFigures Thank you. You did indeed post about this on your blog :) I highly recommend App Bundles to those who have paid apps. Not many people go to McDonalds these days to order individual items of food, everyone instead orders meal combos. The same appears to apply to buyers of apps.

App Bundles and Returns - The number of returns of apps I was getting had risen sharply in the last month or so and I was trying to work out why users were hating! Now I realise that this is a side effect of implementing app bundles - when someone purchases an app bundle and some of the apps in the bundle is already owned, then Apple processes a refund on the parts already owned and then processes the bundle purchase so the bundle purchaser gets the full value of the bundle. Returns are good! It might help other users if this can be clarified in some way in the user interface of appfigures and the emails as they are still printed in red / have sad faces when this is actually a good thing and is not actually the sign of a dissatisfied user. I don't think it is possible to tell when a user is dissatisfied with an app any more and does a genuine return.

Hi appfigures - Thank you for your service. In the last 24 hours I didn't receive my usual email (small things!) and I found my iTunes account hadn't automatically synced - unusual. I clicked sync and it did sync. I now see my admob account hasn't synced either, and while I know I could click sync on that too, I was wondering why the automatic syncing of my accounts has stopped? Cheers folks!

Thank you for the new Payments feature - incredibly useful. It deserves to be up front in the menus by "Sales" and "Ads" rather than languishing down the far end, otherwise people will miss it.

Yes, it is the USA numbers only that have not imported. There will be excitement at appFigures HQ (or something!)

I see differences in the numbers as well. Some numbers are different to what Apple is showing and others are just low. Hard to identify the issue.
