Back End Developer

We're looking for back end developers to develop clean, fast, and efficient code for our popular reporting platform for mobile app stores. As a back end developer you'll be building new features and improving existing ones used daily by tens of thousands of app devs world wide. Like every member of the appFigures team you'll also be involved in making decisions about product development and the user experience.
You:
- Have mastered the curly braces (PHP, Java, or C#) and OOP.
- Have played with MySQL and maybe even Memcached or MongoDB.
- Have a very special place in your heart for the web and technology. The warm and fuzzy kind.
- Have a disciplined approach to development, testing, and quality assurance.
- Are ready to work with a team of other smart developers.
Pluses:
- Contributions to open source projects, blogs, books, and high scores on Stack Overflow.
- A BS / MS in Computer Science or related field -- This helps us understand you, but a degree means less to us than proven ability.
- Experience with web serving and the hardware behind it
- Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu preferred)

As a front end developer you'll be building new interactive user interfaces as well as enhancing those used daily by tens of thousands of app devs world wide. Like every member of the appFigures team you'll also be involved in making decisions about product development and the user experience.
You:
- Have been referred to as a Javascript pro (or ninja) by those who know you, but you know there’s more to master.
- Have gotten down and dirty with jQuery more than once.
- Have a very special place in your heart for the web and technology. The warm and fuzzy kind.
- Are self-directed and self-motivated, like a one man army of Javascript goodness. You can identify and prioritize projects as well as execute them.
- Understand that not all browsers are alike and that one function doesn’t always fit all.
- Are ready to work with a team of other smart developers.
- Have a keen eye for detail and pixel-perfect design across different browsers.

- Familiarity with Photoshop and understanding of design (color theory, typography).
