Adding the "Customer Support" role in App Store Connect (previously iTunes Connect)

For you to be able to respond to reviews right from within Appfigures you'll need the linked App Store Connect account to have a very specific role, the Customer Support role.

This is a new role Apple introduced recently, so odds are the linked account doesn't have it and you'll need to add it.

Here's how:

  1. Log into your App Store Connect account, and select Users and Roles
  2. Select the user that's linked to the Appfigures account
  3. Click the "Roles" tab at the top of the page
  4. Find the "Customer support" role and check the box to its left. Don't uncheck anything else.
  5. Click the "Save" button at the top of the page.

You're all set! You can now respond to reviews.

Note: Apple may take several hours to reflect role changes
